Role Summary/Purpose The Direct Material Productivity (DMP) Leader for Drilling and Production is a global role based in Aberdeen. This individual will lead direct material cost-out activities for Drilling & Production. They will work with the Engineering teams to identify cost-out opportunities. The DMP Leader will track overall progress to goals and provide status updates. The DMP Leader will work with Finance to ensure timely audits are completed.

Essential Responsibilities: • Co-ordinate, monitor and progress the Direct Material Productivity (DMP) for D&P in a Global Capacity to ensure all DMP targets are met
• Maintain accuracy of D&P DMP projects in the Venture database. Provide regular status updates to D&P Engineering team.
• Maintain integrity of DMP project plans
• Lead DMP workouts to identify new opportunities
• Leverage O&G DMP best practices across D&P
• Assist Engineering and Accounting in gathering relevant data for audit of DMP projects to ensure timely and accurate completion of DMP goals.
• Ability to comfortably train large groups of people in DMP in person and using tools such as Webex

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree or work experience
• Solid understanding of Engineering Process
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Desired Characteristics:
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Proven team building ability
• Previous experience in DMP
• Six Sigma Green or Black belt
• Computer literate including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio.
• Please note this position can be filled in Aberdeen or Houston. Ability to communicate at all levels across all disciplines using both verbal and written English. Capable of prioritizing, multi-tasking and working to agreed schedules.
