Subsea Hardware Engineer Jobs in Houston, USA

The Subsea Hardware Engineer will be responsible to lead the development and qualification of the 16.5 ksi Subsea Production System equipment to support the Kaskida project. The role will require extensive interface with the project team, the Engineering and Project Management Services (EPMS) contractor, MMS, industry bodies such as API, the equipment supplier and BP technical authorities. The ideal candidate would be an industry recognized leader in Subsea Hardware with strong leadership and communication capabilities. Depending on the experience of the successful candidate, the role may also include technology development in other areas, including HIPPS, multiphase measurement systems, and chemical metering. Qualifications: - Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer - Must not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., TN, H1B status) - Must have an Engineering degree or equivalent - Expert knowledge of subsea hardware design and manufacture - Experience in subsea equipment operations - Experience in project management - Knowledge of control system interfaces with subsea systems - Knowledge of concepts and systems for deepwater developments, together with a familiarity of the challenges of deepwater environments
