The Senior Contracts Engineer is responsible for the provision of commercial and contractual expertise as a member of the Project Team. # Identify the obligations of Acergy and the Client within the Contract (including bid stage). # Examine and qualify prospective contract documents. # Seek opportunity and advice of risk within the contract. # Advise on whether changes are in fact variations to the contract. # Examine unusual events to establish cause, effect, and liability. # Prepare, submit and pursue variations in accordance with the contract and procedures of Acergy. # Review all incoming and outgoing correspondence to ensure we do nothing to jeopardise our contractual position and to seek opportunity. # Promote the need for Contractual Awareness within the Project Team. # Insurance interface for Projects and Corporate. # Ensure timely notice and claim on any BAR incident. # Ensure compliance with relevant procedure of Acergy, particularly those of the PRJ and Legal suites.
