The purpose of the position is to monitor and manage the day to day reservoir management of the UKU fields. The role will ensure that field daily operations are in accordance with the Field Development and Reservoir Management Plans in order to maximize both daily production and ultimate field recovery. As the management of the reservoirs is becoming more complex and challenging this position supports the Production team in achieving best practice in reservoir management and development. The role will focus mainly on short term reservoir management (less than six month). Day to day ‘judgment’ decisions will be required to be made by the jobholder. Decisions regarding reservoir management practice and strategy will be made in consultation with the Production Technology Team Leader, Subsurface Team and Operation Team.
