The Staff Engineer is responsible for ensuring that System engineering is performed in a timely manner and in accordance with procedures and standards on the project or study that he or she is seconded to. The Staff Engineer shall support the rest of the team with System engineering tasks and understanding such that Vetco solution is competive and preferred by the client. This will include FEED studies/Tender work to optimize the drilling, operation and maintenance programs to develop optimize The role will require a thorough understanding of the administration and support requirements for participation in Subsea EPC projects as System Engineering Manager in home/foreign locations. Strong systems and interface engineering skills based upon previous experience of SIT and systems engineering within Subsea Projects. It is required that the Staff Engineer has detailed understanding of subsea product design basis / verification methods / FEED studies/Tender work and general product knowledge gained through significant number of years of industrial experience. The Staff Engineer skills will include capabilities to fully understand the main aspects of Technical Assurance and undertake Risk Assessment, HAZOP and Interface Engineering within the boundaries of product standards. It is also required that the Staff Engineer has the knowledge and understanding of other related systems engineering skills such as Factory Acceptance Procedures, Safety and Environmental Controls.
