Essential Responsibilities: • Serve as a strategic business partner with the Manufacturing organization • Statutory and regulatory compliance with the HR aspects of EHS on site, including any and all regulatory obligations to the Regional Govt authorities. • Provide advice, council, and support for benefits, training, compliance programs and HR information systems • Lead and assist with any Disciplinary processes involving manufacturing employees in the Nailsea site, as well as providing counsel for other UK manufacturing disciplinary actions. • Lead recruiting and staffing for UK manufacturing • Provide coaching, counseling and retention for UK manufacturing employees • Performance Management: Lead the Salaried Employee Evaluation process (Session C) as well as, Goals & Objectives and associated processes for all of UK Manufacturing. • Compensation Management: Lead Salary planning and incentive planning for UK Manufacturing, keeping in line with the GE compensation philosophy • Working very closely with other the Global Functional HRMs to deploy specific functional policies • Support and assist with other regional HR initiatives as needed – interact with other global manufacturing HRM’s in a matrixed environment. • Provide advice to the UK Manufacturing Plant Managers on the employment laws and interpretations
