Global Maritime A/S expertise ranges from global analyses and detail design of vessels to local analysis of minor modifications. Various steel structures in the marine environment are analyzed everyday, but neither steel nor the marine environment is a limitation. Global Maritime A/S staff is also capable of analyzing structures in aluminium, concrete, timber and composite materials. Both linear and nonlinear approaches are used to solve static and dynamic structural and mechanical problems. Global Maritime A/S expertise includes plastic analyses as well (plastic capacity of structural elements and impact analyses). These approaches are used to analyze structures and mechanical components in all relevant limit states (ultimate, serviceability, fatigue and accidental limit state).
