Vessel Equipment Superintendent Jobs in Aberdeen, Scotland

* Primary responsibility for maintaining vessel dive systems and associated equipment to statutory and classification society rules * Liaise with class societies and legislative bodies to maintain good working relationships * Prepare dry dock and refit scopes of work * Be familiar with the requirements of NORSOK U100 and U101 * Be familiar with the requirements of IMCA D023, D024, D018 and D039 * Liaise with Vessel Superintendents to ensure all work is properly scheduled * Ensure sufficient resources are available to carry out dry dock and refit workscopes * Ensure all workscopes are properly risk assessed * Provision of technical support to projects through bidding, mobilisation, operations and demobilising phases including budget, scheduling and resource planning * Setting and adhering to annual maintenance budgets * Producing financial, technical and performance reports as required * Participate, and/or manage, new equipment building, major modifications and major overhauls * Continued development and management of Planned Maintenance and Certification * The management and maintenance of all documentation relating to the safe operation and reliability of vessel diving equipment and systems * Required to attend vessels during port calls, refits and dry docks
