Be the point of contact onshore for Captains and Chief Engineers for all marine technical matters in relation to their vessels Ensure that proper preventative maintenance policy is in place, supporting marine crew accordingly Visit vessels and crews regularly and as instructed by Marine Superintendent(s) Liaise with external contractors when required for the maintenance of vessels Liaise with Buyers and Logistics to ensure spare parts requisitions are dealt with in due time in order to not jeopardize operation of the vessel(s) Liaise with Classification Societies, Flag State Authorities, when required or instructed by the Marine Superintendent(s) Participate in establishing technical specification for maintenance work to be done during planned technical stops or dry-dockings Co-ordinate onboard maintenance activities along with the Chief Engineer during technical stops Manages HSEQ issues in the full respect of Corporate and Legislative Safety requirements – Promote Company HSEQ Policy onboard vessels Assist the Chief Engineer in performing acceptance surveys for subcontracted works done onboard during technical stops Manage warranty claims when required
