An OED Senior Welding Engineer should have at least 5 years relevant experience. An OED Senior Welding Engineer should manage the process of weld procedure qualification and mechanical testing for onshore, offshore and hyperbaric applications as well as provide accurate input for material procurement. Open communication skills are essential in order to undertake effective coaching of fellow team members. It is expected that this will be achieved through task related discussions, leading by example and supporting colleagues development. A Senior Engineer must have enthusiasm and diligence for both their specific field of expertise and the continuous improvement of OED and Technip Group as a whole.
