In this role, you’ll be responsible for the structural engineering discipline aspects of a number of assets, and should be capable of verifying contractors’ design, change and repair proposals. We’ll also expect you to: * Develop a full understanding of Shell’s policies, its structural standards and related business processes * Fulfil the role of asset structural Technical Authority and provide expert advice on timely maintenance and intervention solutions * Review and approve design integrity of work carried out by engineering contractors to ensure that the proposed solutions are technically and commercially sound * Work as an integral member of the current offshore structural engineering team.
