Responsible for complying with and carrying out all tasks and duties in accordance with policies and procedures documented in Business Management System (BMS). Conducts all required emergency procedures which ensure safety of divers under their control. Provides a detailed communication link between divers in saturation and surface crew. Runs pre and post dive check lists for chambers and sat control. Conducts pressurisation, maintains saturation depth and decompresses in accordance with approved procedures and as specified by the LSS. Maintains the correct levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide and other relevant contaminants which may be specified inside the chamber. Maintains the correct temperature and humidity inside the chamber. Calibrates all monitoring and analytical instruments. Reports all accidents or health complaints to the LSS or the Dive Supervisor. Fills in the hourly chamber data log. Maintains a personal log book which is to be signed by the Diving Superintendent. Calibration of, or when requested, supply accurate calibration data for the relevant instruments. Updates "Chamber Control Logbook" Prepares decompression log. Ensures all measuring tools, pipes, electrical and mechanical equipment function within normal parameters Expands own knowledge of technical operation and maintenance of technical equipment. Has knowledge of actions and activities carried out by other personnel in or nearby the chamber system. Familiar with and complys with requirements of Corporate Quality System, in particular those procedures which specifically address the operation.
