Drilling Engineer (GoM) Jobs in Houston, USA

To be considered for the role of Deepwater Drilling Engineer (Gulf of Mexico) applicants must have: • Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer. • A Bachelor degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline or commensurate industry experience. • Minimum of 6 years of experience planning and executing a well design or downhole equipment design and manufacturing for oil or gas wells. • Demonstrated experience working with multi-disciplinary teams. • Previous experience working as a Drilling Engineer or as an engineer for downhole equipment design and manufacturing. • Planning and design skills, cost estimation and risk analysis, operation support to field teams, HSE behaviors, teamwork skills across multi-disciplinary teams • The ability to travel up to 25% of the time. • A willingness and ability to work in small, confined places, on high platforms, walk on high elevation grating over water, walk up and down steps, and ride in a helicopter or boat over waters and be transferred via personnel basket, pertaining to offshore operations
