Provide technical support and guidance to any unit engineers on the project. - Generation of workscope and task lists for the unit engineers. - Generation of a Software System Design Specification (Software Lead only) - Ensuring that functional safety requirements are catered for and where appropriate the Software Requirement Specification and that the system shall comply with the contractual safety standards. - Maintaining a system of Short-Interval Control for Unit engineers. - Undertake unit design and generate documentation as part of the overall Project task allocation. - Preparation of Project documentation e.g. functional design specifications (FDS’s), factory acceptance test (FAT) procedures, operation and maintenance manuals etc. and product support documentation e.g design record sheets (DRS’s) for calculations, CE files, design review check lists etc. - Conceptual design of Product in accordance with FDS requiring instruction of (and liaison with) Designers to provide design schemes and subsequent detailed drawings.
