Reporting to the Country Manager, India, Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving the assigned sales targets for the products and solutions of DNV Software in India. Accordingly, the functional responsibilities include: - Generation and qualification of leads for new opportunities for all the products and solutions of DNV Software - Scaling up of existing accounts through effective and continuous customer engagements and by maintaining excellent customer relations - Preparation and presentation of proposals and tenders to prospective or existing customers - Close follow up of all opportunities and converting them into sales closures - Communicating customer requirements and expectations accurately to the project teams - Interfacing between the customer and the internal teams that provide: Implementation support, solution development and customer training - Invoicing promptly for the products supplied and services rendered and following up on receivables - Providing feedback to marketing functions on market dynamics and trends - Frequent travel, but mostly within India
