BP has recently expanded its’ shale acreage position in the Arkoma Basin of Oklahoma. Additionally, BP holds significant shale acreage in East Texas. Development and production of our shale gas assets will become a major contribution to the future success of BP’s North America Gas (NAG) Strategic Performance Unit (SPU). BP is seeking a Senior Reservoir Engineer to evaluate and develop the resource base in these areas. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will be member of a multi-disciplinary subsurface team responsible for the evaluation, planning and delivery of an integrated shale development program. The execution of this plan will utilize subsurface, drilling, stimulation and completion technologies to enable a multi-rig fleet to drill potentially 500 vertical and horizontal wells
