In this role you will be responsible for responsible for development of technical and commercial proposals for offshore Engineering Procurement Installation and Commissions projects primarily for construction of offshore pipelines and structures. Develop cost estimates for assigned projects. Assist Estimating Manager in evaluation of Customer Request for Tender/Bid/Quotation documents. Identifies and understands customer requirements for bid purposes. Coordinates bid inputs from Operations, Engineering, Welding, Legal, Purchasing, Taxation, Human Resources, Safety, and Risk Management departments. Coordinates with subcontractors to receive input on pricing on labor, materials and other costs. Assists Estimating Manager in obtaining management approval on estimates prior to submission of tender/proposal to client. Attends post bid meetings to act as a resource for project team and client. Enters proposals/tenders into Global Star database for cost tracking and historical information. Serves as a liaison for Project Management when a bid/tender is awarded and becomes a job. Markets the company’s services to existing and potential clients. May guide or mentor Estimators on tenders/proposals to clients. Handles more complex and varied Estimating proposals. Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
