Acquired by Wood Group in 2004, DSI provides complete function testing services for all automated systems following construction and prior to first oil. Deepwater Specialists, Inc highly skilled technical personnel ensure systems are tested safely, thoroughly and accurately. Development of a customized commissioning plan and database is the first step in the commissioning process. Following mechanical completion, the facility’s automated systems are tested in the fabrication yard. Further checking of the systems is undertaken offshore prior to regulatory inspections and assistance with start-up.
