As one of the largest independent project managers in Australia, APP has managed some of the country’s most significant building projects including 19 Olympic venues, Star City Casino, Riverside Corporate Park, Sydney Showground at Homebush, Mater Children’s Hospital in Brisbane, Channel 7 Broadcast Centre, NAB Headquarters in Melbourne and the upgrade of Gosford and Wyong Hospitals.We are currently assisting in the delivery of Australia’s largest corporate fitouts (73,500m2+) for Stockland and Westpac, and the new Public Private Partnership (PPP) $350m operational headquarters for the Department of Defence. Our retail team is managing one of Australia’s largest retail projects at Westpoint Blacktown for QIC, in addition to retail commissions in Albany and Perth in WA and VIC.Our Urban Development and Property division is managing the rezoning and master planning of some of Australia’s largest land release areas including Edmondson Park, Eastern Creek, West Dapto, No. 1 Airport Drive, Brisbane and WA’s Brookdale Master Planning. In 2005 APP in conjunction with Civitas was awarded the NSW UDIA Award for Excellence in Concept Design for our work on Edmondson Park.APP’s Business Project Management division has worked with clients including NIB, Defence, AirServices Australia, CSR and NSW Police to deliver strategic initiatives, projects and organisational reforms. Business Project Management’s success has been recognised with both State and National awards in the 2005 Project Management Achievement Awards (PMAA), which are an initiative of the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM). Business Project Management was the AIPM PMAA NSW Category Winner – Product Development, the NSW State Winner, and the National Category Winner – Product Development.Following on from our Olympic record, APP’s Events team managed facilities and logistics for the 2001 Goodwill Games in Brisbane, the Volvo Ocean Race Stopover in Sydney and the Flora Sydney Marathon in 2003-2004. Our major event involvement continues with the appointment to manage the Overlay for the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne and the IMF/World Bank Board of Governors Annual meetings in Singapore in 2006.Since 1992 APP has been diligently working throughout Asia, India and the United Arab Emirates for a range of international clients such as Hyatt, Ritz Carlton, Fuji Xerox and the Australian Government. Current commissions include a landmark 84 storey commercial office tower in Dubai designed by Lord Norman Foster, the Chancellory Building within the Australian High Commission in Delhi, the Grand Hyatt hotel in Mumbai and development advice on casinos in Greece and Albania
