Savonette is the fourth development in Trinidad using the standardised Cannonball design, following the “hub and spoke” strategy which provides low incremental development costs via savings through standardised design. Savonette will be connected via a 26-inch, 9km subsea pipeline to the Mahogany B platform where the fluids will be processed, and then exported onshore via the existing 40-inch gas pipeline and 12-inch liquid pipeline. Savonette is currently under development, with first gas expected in 2009.
