PacSeal Hydraulics supplies industry with superior valves and regulators. ShearFlo® Sealing Technology; The two mating surfaces of the sealing components are lapped and polished to exacting standards of finish and flatness. The seal ring is forced against the flow plate by a spring which maintains a constant force and thus a seal between the two sealing components. The spring preload causes continuous lapping between the two sealing surfaces during use. This makes the ShearFlo® design very contaminant tolerant by eliminating small scratches via this lapping action.
