Excalibur Engineering bv (Delft, The Netherlands) was founded in 1999 by a small team of key specialists, all having gained extensive experience in their field within the worldwide offshore engineering and contracting industry. Excalibur Engineering bv is offering a safe and cost effective approach towards the decommissioning and installation of large offshore oil and gas platforms, a new vessel, Pieter Schelte, will be built. The Excalibur Engineering bv vessel will be able to install and remove platform topsides up to 48,000 tonnes and jackets up to 25,000 tonnes in a single lift operation. Delivery of the vessel to the market is planned for 2009.
