Operations Engineer Scotland job at Aker Solutions
The Operations Engineer, under the direction of the Repair & Overhaul Manager, is responsible for providing project coordination and technical support during the execution of the operational activities of the Repair & Overhaul Department.
The Operations Engineer will assist with the coordination of manpower to carry out scheduled overhaul activities.
Promote and support the client’s values and strategic objectives throughout the company.
Promote and fully implement the requirements of the company’s HSE management system at all times, including provision of appropriate safety information to personnel, input to accident/incident reporting, investigation and resolution.
As is required accept responsibility for the project management and execution of Repair and Overhaul projects; including maintenance of Service Order/Project economy and adequately maintain cost control systems.
Adhere to and promote implementation of all company quality related policies and procedures, particularly in relation to job management and records.
Participate in the company’s on-call support rota
Promote and secure orders for modifications and services
Provide technical support and feedback to the client, service engineer, spare parts, sales, and repair & overhaul personnel.
Assist liaison with regarding the following:
Technical feedback to and from the client
HSE Alerts & Bulletins and Product Bulletins.
Input into company developmental activities, including development of work instructions and procedures.
Provide regular status updates and reports to the Repair & Overhaul Manager, and input to any specific reporting requirements specified by the Repair & Overhaul Manager.
