Project Engineer Scotland job at Aker Solutions
Responsible for planning engineering support activities within the overall project schedule, ensuring all activities and/or deliverables are identified;
Management, liaison and support of offshore workscopes acting as co-ordinator between the relevant FPSO / platform and the Construction Vessel(s);
Ensure compliance with technical integrity standards and project procedures;
Assist development, planning and management of operational activities associated with existing and future offshore facilities;
Provide operational input into existing and new assets ensuring operational, certification and verification requirements are complied with, maintained and updated as appropriate;
Provide short term solutions and undertake operational investigations;
Provide day to day operational support to non construction related scopes;
To ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner to comply with company, client and statutory requirements;
Organise, attend and contribute to task based and risk based assessments;
Develop, maintain and distribute detailed procedures;
Maintain detailed daily logs for all offshore activities;
Liaison with third parties, and client representatives as required;
Provide assurance and interface management on vendor and contractor activities;
Provide office based duties during periods of vessel inactivity and out with the offshore construction season.
