Marine Supertindent - Marine Operations USA job at Aker Solutions
We are currently seeking a Marine Superindent to be responsible for the vessel charter, deck crew and vessel sailing instructions.
He or she is responsible for the tasks listed below:
* Ensures that correct operating instructions are given to Aker Marine Contractors crew, as well as vessel, Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicle (ROV) personnel and survey personnel.
* Ensures that all personnel follow procedures in relation to approved project guidelines.
* Ensures that personnel correctly use equipment.
* Ensures that resources, time and materials are allocated correctly to project guidelines.
* Ensures that shift compliance procedures are followed and coordinated with Aker Marine Contractors US- Health and Safety (HSE) and Quality Assurance (QA)
* Reports all accidents, incidents and accident possibilities (near miss) without undue delay
* Reports all Non Conformance.
* Maintains a good working environment on site.
* Maintains a detailed shift log
* Onboards Aker Marine Contractors Corporate Assets and Operations representative
* Responsible for the daily follow up of the Charter agreement
* Leads and coordinates the ongoing onboard construction work
* Leads and coordinates the work of other vessels or sites involved in the project
* Stages shift tool box meetings/or briefings for all critical stages or activities posing particular risk.
* Arranges On and Off hire statements as required.
* Issues official sailing instructions to Master.
* Advises the Aker Marine Corporate Assets and Operations Department with respect to the Owners supply.
* Develops and implements necessary procedures for the department
