• Evaluating vendor quotes and services to determine if they are compatible with company/project objectives (cost, quality, safety, delivery, etc)
• Negotiating with suppliers to obtain optimal cost and commercial terms
• Monitoring supplier costs, delivery schedules, quality and conformance to specifications
• Surveying marketplace for alternate sources of supply and benchmarks for ongoing acquired goods/services
