The Engineering Leader will lead the global subsea ITO Manifold and Connection Systems (MCS) engineering team and coordinate with cross-functional leaders to meet bidding requirements and FEED Study commitments to the appropriate timelines. This role will drive partnership between world class designers and engineers to meet customer needs of on time bid delivery, quality and cost. The role will also serve as a liaison with local and global compliance experts ensuring technical excel.
Essential Responsibilities Manage a team of Application Engineers
for the ITO support, currently 4 – 6 people, to respond to requests for information and support tender activities.
• Assist in determining project feasibility, overall technical bid structure and Product
Interfaces for MCS supply
• Coordinate with the product management team to determine best product application with each bid opportunity. Provide engineering hours and schedule for the execution requirements for MCS supply
• Provide engineering details to allow cost generation for identified MCS solutions
• Determine resource assignment and manage project prioritization including
headcount allocation. Provide technical support and full definition of engineering work scope for each bid opportunity including:
• Identifying and assessing technical risks associated with proposed offering
• Monitoring and reporting progress, resource status and quality
• Managing cost and identifying risks
• Identifying opportunities for Product
Enhances ment, attend meetings and technical reviews
• Actively encourage New Product Idea
suggestions to facilitate the team
participation in the scheme
• Participate in projects to reduce costs
and standardize product offerings
• Schedule/attend equipment and system
design reviews
• Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
• At least 10+ years of Engineering experience in the O&G Subsea industry with increasing responsibility
• Technical knowledge of VetcoGray Control System Products
ccccy ITO Engineering experience in the O&G Subsea industry
Piano Effective oral and written communication
Strong communication and leadership skills
Desired Characteristic Green Belt certified
