Job description
Assist exploration teams in assessing recoverable reserves using regional data or field analogs
Determine appraisal and development well locations, optimizing well spacing, pattern and trajectory & completion strategy issues on a full field basis
Select optimum reservoir drive mechanisms and evaluate secondary or tertiary recovery schemes
Prepare and oversee well testing and fluid evaluation programs. Manage SCAL programs
Quantify the sensitivity to key reservoir uncertainties for different development scenarios
Construct and run reservoir simulation models (Eclipse) including use of pre and post processing simulation software
Conduct sensitivities to the impact of total field production and injection requirements
Optimize the overall reservoir depletion plan, depletion strategy, well count and timing and requirements for production facility capacities
Contribute to economic models for all phases of the asset life cycle and make recommendations concerning the commercial viability of proceeding with appraisal and development of new reserves
Optimize the design and implementation of stimulations, re-completions and workover operations
Responsible for reserves reporting for own assets
Responsible for leading small projects or an area in larger projects
Actively participate in technical network within the company
Assist in training and supervision of staff engineers
