In 1906, Everlasting Valve Company was formed by Patterson Allen Engineering, Paterson, NJ to manufacture and market steam boiler blow down valves for steam locomotives, tug boats, ocean liners, Great Lake steamers and the US Navy. As the motive force for these modes of transportation faded packaged boilers for industry and space heating emerged. Everlasting has become a standard for this industry. The unique features of this valve are Rotating self lapping sealing surfaces, and self cleaning open body which allows particulate to freely flow.
